Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following the departure of Alan Wilder and intense internal turmoil, 'Ultra' is a deeply dark, somber, and nocturnal evolution for Depeche Mode. The album integrates trip-hop and industrial rock influences into their synthpop sound, resulting in an incredibly introspective, melancholic, and atmospheric record.
