Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as a highly elaborate art hoax, this profoundly beautiful and enigmatic album was actually created by two British male musicians鈥擟olin Lloyd Tucker and Simon Fisher Turner鈥攑osing as tragic French orphans. 'Double Happiness' weaves delicate, melancholic acoustic guitar loops, ethereal choral sampling, and incredibly sparse piano lines into deeply surreal ambient suites. The deeply mysterious, highly conceptual recording remains an absolute masterpiece of early 80s avant-garde experimentation.
