Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fronted by the highly influential electric violinist, 'Fiddler on the Rock' is a sprawling, jam-oriented intersection of heavy blues and technical jazz-rock. The sessions are marked by extensive improvisatory passages where the violin operates with the aggression and volume typically reserved for lead guitars. It serves as an essential document of the artist's unique ability to bridge raw rhythm and blues with sophisticated fusion.
