Serving as the inaugural release for Adrian Sherwood's legendary studio collective, this album brilliantly fused the heavy, spatial disorientation of Jamaican dub with the aggressive, industrial clatter of British post-punk. Featuring the immense rhythmic foundation of Style Scott alongside an array of experimental avant-garde musicians, the record is dark, paranoid, and fiercely innovative. It laid the foundation for the entirely unique, groundbreaking On-U Sound aesthetic.
