Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting after a four-year hiatus, the legendary R&B ensemble updated their signature sound with contemporary, heavily sequenced production. 'Touch the World' integrates driving synth-funk basslines and drum machines with their classic brass sections and Maurice White's unmistakable vocal arrangements. The album yielded the hit 'System of Survival', successfully bridging their seventies legacy with late-eighties dance floors.
