German composer Eberhard Schoener utilized the early Moog synthesizer alongside traditional acoustic instruments to craft this deeply hypnotic, proto-ambient soundscape. Eschewing the rhythmic sequencing of his krautrock contemporaries, the album focuses on slowly shifting, droning textures meant to induce contemplative states. It serves as an early European milestone in the evolution of ambient and new age music.
