Biography
Eberhard Schoener is a German composer and conductor from Stuttgart, born in 1938, who moved from a classical career - first violin at the Bavarian State Opera and founder of the Munich Chamber Opera - into pioneering electronic music. An early European champion of the Moog synthesizer, he recorded meditative albums such as 'Meditation', 'Trance-Formation' and 'Video-Magic', and fused Balinese music with electronics on 'Bali-Ag煤ng'. His collaborations with rock musicians and his film and television scores made him a bridge between the classical and electronic worlds.
