Album Notes & Community Reviews
Returning to their notoriously misanthropic roots, the British doom legends deliver their longest and perhaps most hostile record, notably featuring the return of original drummer Mark Greening. The impossibly heavy, fuzz-drenched guitars are paired with extensive, disturbing audio samples taken directly from 1980s true-crime documentaries and satanic panic news broadcasts. It stands as a suffocating, unrelenting monument to darkness and drug abuse.
