Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded rapidly in Colorado, 'Caribou' finds Elton John at the height of his 1970s commercial dominance, effortlessly bridging energetic, piano-driven rockers with his quintessential, lush pop balladry. While perhaps less cohesive than his immediate predecessors, the album features iconic hits and showcases his increasingly theatrical, glam-inflected persona.
