Album Notes & Community Reviews

The relatively obscure debut album from the legendary singer-songwriter features lengthier, more psychedelia-tinged arrangements than the concise pop hits that would soon make him a superstar. Co-written extensively with lyricist Bernie Taupin, the record showcases his foundational piano work occasionally augmented by harpsichord and flute.
