Album Notes & Community Reviews

Navigating yet another phase of lineup turbulence, the pioneering British folk-rock ensemble leaned heavily into a more polished, country-rock aesthetic for their ninth studio album. Led by the virtuosic fiddling of Dave Swarbrick and the newly recruited American guitarist Trevor Lucas, the record balances upbeat, twangy originals with traditional English folk interpretations. It represents a solid, highly melodic chapter in the band's extensive, ever-evolving discography.
