Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fairport Convention attempts to stabilize a shifting lineup with 'The Bonny Bunch of Roses', a record deeply rooted in traditional English folk narratives. The album presents elaborate, rocking interpretations of historical ballads alongside strong acoustic musicianship. While lacking some of the raw fire of their early years, it remains a sturdy, respectable entry in the British folk-rock revival.
