Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as the group's first recording following the abrupt departure of founding visionary Peter Green, the remaining members retreated to a communal house in Hampshire to regroup. Guided largely by Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan, the sessions playfully embraced 1950s rock and roll pastiche and laid-back country-blues, signaling a significant transition away from their heavy British blues origins.
