Album Notes & Community Reviews
Slowing hardcore punk down to an agonizing, distorted crawl, Flipper's debut is a wildly influential sludge and noise-rock pioneer. 'Generic Flipper' embraces a deeply misanthropic, repetitive sonic sludge, backing Bruce Lose and Will Shatter鈥檚 desperate, sarcastic yelps. It is an incredibly raw, dissonant exploration of existential dread and nihilistic humor.
