Biography
Flipper is an American punk rock band from San Francisco, formed in 1979. The classic lineup of Will Shatter, Bruce Loose, Ted Falconi and Steve DePace played slow, bass-driven, distorted punk on the albums 'Album - Generic Flipper' (1982) and 'Gone Fishin'' (1984) for #Subterranean Records#. After Shatter's death in 1987 the band split, later reforming for 'American Grafishy' (1993) and 'Love' (2009). DePace remains from the original lineup, leading the band with new members since Falconi's departure in 2025.
