Deliberately stripping back the massive, bombastic orchestration of her earlier blockbusters, Florence Welch delivered her most intimate and vulnerable album yet. Co-produced with Emile Haynie, the record focuses heavily on delicate piano arrangements, hushed percussion, and highly confessional lyrics addressing eating disorders and her newfound sobriety. It was widely appreciated as a brave, incredibly mature evolution for the powerhouse vocalist.
