Longer Than Spring

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded over a six-month residency in London, 'Longer Than Spring' integrates expansive brass arrangements with the rhythmic tension of the city's contemporary post-rock scene. The recording documents the ensemble's shift toward more structured, jazz-inflected compositions following a series of long-form improvisational sessions. It conceptually investigates the physical sensation of temporal extension during seasonal shifts, prioritized through high-fidelity instrumental detail.
