Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bridging the gap between the complex jazz-fusion of 'Hot Rats' and the comedic rock of his Mothers ensembles, Frank Zappa delivered a wildly eclectic transitional record. 'Chunga's Revenge' is wonderfully quirky and fiercely technical, pairing heavily improvised, highly progressive jazz-rock instrumentals with deeply sarcastic, intensely humorous vocal tracks featuring Flo & Eddie.
