Freedom

Album Notes & Community Reviews

For their third LP, the former Procol Harum members fully refined their transition into a highly muscular, guitar-driven heavy rock trio. Bolstered by exceptionally tight ensemble playing and raw, blues-oriented song structures, the record dispenses with their earlier progressive ambitions in favor of pure, driving boogie power. It stands as their most cohesive, unpretentiously rocking statement.
