Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed by former Procol Harum members, Freedom delivered 'Through the Years' as a straightforward, heavy blues-rock workout on the renowned Vertigo label[cite: 1]. Stripped of early symphonic pretensions, the trio focuses on gritty riffs, potent rhythm sections, and extended instrumental interplay[cite: 1]. Though it lacked a commercial breakthrough, the record is a solid testament to the raw power of early British hard rock[cite: 1].
