Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hurriedly released to capitalize on the massive success of their fuzz-drenched cover of 'House of the Rising Sun', the Detroit quartet's sophomore LP leans heavily into aggressive, blues-based hard rock. Propelled by Gary Ray Thompson's massive, distorted guitar tone and Tom Beaudry's gritty vocals, the band matched the raw sonic intensity of their Motor City contemporaries. It captures a visceral, unpolished energy that remains highly celebrated by heavy psych enthusiasts.
