Album Notes & Community Reviews

The French experimental collective delivers a deeply archaic, theatrical interpretation of dark ambient and neoclassical darkwave. 'John Barleycorn Must Die' utilizes heavy martial percussion, sweeping medieval brass, and operatic choral arrangements to conjure an overwhelming sense of ancient doom. The limited-edition release is a highly revered, intensely dramatic artifact of the European neofolk underground.
