Gaë Bolg and the Church of Fand

Biography

Gaë Bolg and the Church of Fand is the solo project of Paris-based French musician Eric Roger, formerly of *L'Orchestre Noir* and a hired player with *Sol Invictus*. Its early 2000s albums 'John Barleycorn Must Die', 'Tintagel' and 'La ballade de l'Ankou' combine neofolk, neoclassical writing and martial industrial marches, with glockenspiel, choirs and brass played with ironic good humour. Roger later recorded simply as Gaë Bolg.
