Album Notes & Community Reviews

Howe Gelb's legendary Tucson collective reached an eclectic creative peak alongside soon-to-be Calexico members Joey Burns and John Convertino. 'Chore of Enchantment' filters traditional dusty Americana through experimental post-rock textures, shifting gracefully from heavy alternative rock outbursts to hushed, piano-led desert ballads.
