Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in an intensely brief studio window, Howe Gelb's collective captured a spontaneous, dusty collision of chaotic improvisational rock and fractured desert roots. The session's unfiltered rawness deeply influenced the burgeoning alternative country movement that emerged in subsequent years.
