Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Hymns' marks a massive, aggressive return to form for Godflesh, leaning heavily into post-metal and sludge influences while employing live drumming. The album is a dark, dissonant, and intensely rhythmic exploration of mechanical misanthropy and self-hatred.
