Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded incredibly quickly while the virtual band was on tour for their previous album, Damon Albarn largely stepped away from massive guest features to create a surprisingly intimate, breezy record. Heavily inspired by the landscapes of North America, the project leans into deeply warm, melancholic 1980s synth-pop and funk grooves. It serves as a beautifully relaxed, incredibly cohesive sonic travelogue for the animated group.
