George Benson

George Benson is a celebrated American guitarist and vocalist who masterfully bridges the worlds of jazz, pop, and R&B. A former child prodigy, he first gained prominence in the 1960s as a soul-jazz guitarist with organist *Jack McDuff*. His career reached superstar status with the 1976 #Warner Bros.# album 'Breezin'', which topped multiple charts and featured his Grammy-winning vocal hit 'This Masquerade'. Throughout the late '70s and '80s, he released a string of successful albums, including the *Quincy Jones*-produced 'Give Me the Night', cementing his reputation as a crossover artist without ever fully abandoning his jazz roots.
