Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Dutch outfit delivers an incredibly dense, avant-garde conceptual metal record inspired heavily by early 20th-century modernist art movements, specifically De Stijl. 'Zwart vierkant' completely shatters traditional black metal boundaries, incorporating Spanish guitar, jazz instrumentation, and sprawling, dissonant song structures. The project is an intellectually rigorous, unpredictable exploration of sonic chaos and artistic philosophy.
