Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pioneers of the relentlessly primitive and fiercely independent lo-fi movement, the band delivered a sprawling, eclectic, and chaotic collection. Jad Fair's childlike, unhinged vocal delivery explores obsessive themes of love, monsters, and science fiction over wildly out-of-tune guitar noise. The album's complete disregard for traditional musicianship perfectly encapsulates the purest spirit of underground, do-it-yourself outsider art.
