Album Notes & Community Reviews
Widely regarded as one of the most influential hardcore records of the 2000s, 'Songs To Scream At The Sun' is a deeply personal and poetic exploration of maturity, loss, and the complexities of adulthood. Pat Flynn's lyrics move beyond genre tropes into genuine literature, set against a backdrop of melodic yet aggressive instrumentation. The album's short, punchy songs create a high-impact narrative that redefined what could be achieved within the hardcore punk framework.
