Have Heart

Have Heart was a seminal American hardcore band formed in New Bedford, Massachusetts, in 2002. Rising from the Boston scene, they became synonymous with the youth crew revival and the straight edge movement, delivering a potent blend of melodic intensity and deeply personal, positive lyrics. Their albums, particularly 2006's "The Things We Carry" and their landmark 2008 LP "Songs to Scream at the Sun," are considered modern classics of the genre. Known for their cathartic and explosive live performances, the band cultivated a fiercely dedicated global following before abruptly disbanding in 2009. A brief, massively attended reunion in 2019 reaffirmed their enduring legacy, with members later forming the acclaimed band *Fiddlehead*.
