Submersus

Marking the project's first full-length album in eight years, 'Submersus' finds sole member M.S.W. continuing his exploration of crushingly slow sludge and funeral doom metal. The five lengthy tracks are built on a foundation of droning, heavily distorted guitar riffs and tortured, raspy vocals, crafting a bleak and suffocating atmosphere intended to channel themes of grief and existential despair. While maintaining the core sound of previous releases, the album presents a raw, streamlined production that veers between immense, weighty riffs and moments of atmospheric, blackened ambience.
