Album Notes & Community Reviews

Famously recorded outdoors in a Berkshire field, Heron's sprawling double album captures the relaxed, pastoral essence of early seventies British folk-rock. The recording effortlessly blends sunny pop melodies with laid-back acoustic instrumentation, occasionally picking up ambient nature sounds like birdsong and passing tractors. It provides a delightfully warm and organic listening experience unique to its unconventional recording environment.
