Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled from various performances recorded across Europe and the United States between 2018 and 2023, 'As It Happened: Horse Lords Live' documents the quartet's formidable on-stage synergy. The release perfectly translates their mathematically rigorous, microtonal compositions into a highly visceral live setting. It showcases their unique ability to weave dense, interlocking polyrhythms and totalist structures into deeply hypnotic, propulsive grooves.
