Album Notes & Community Reviews

'As Safe as Yesterday Is' was Humble Pie's debut and introduced the partnership of Steve Marriott, Peter Frampton, Greg Ridley, and Jerry Shirley. The album joins blues-rock weight with acoustic roots touches and the assertive vocal presence that would become central to the band's identity. It appeared just before the group moved toward a louder live-oriented style.
