Biography
Humble Pie are an English hard rock band formed in Moreton, Essex, in 1969 by Steve Marriott, Peter Frampton, Greg Ridley and Jerry Shirley. An early supergroup, the band blended blues, soul and boogie into a heavy live sound, scoring American success with 'Performance Rockin’ the Fillmore' and 'Smokin'. After the original run ended in 1975, revivals followed in 1980-1981 and 2001-2002, and drummer Jerry Shirley has directed the touring Humble Pie Legacy since 2018.
