Smokin'

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of Peter Frampton and the addition of guitarist Clem Clempson, the British quartet unleashed their most commercially successful and aggressively heavy studio record. Driven by Steve Marriott's powerhouse, soul-shredding vocals and booming rhythm sections, tracks like '30 Days in the Hole' became instant staples of FM rock radio. The album perfectly captures their blistering, boogie-blues energy in a refined studio setting.
