Rebounding from extensive lineup changes, saxophonist Dick Morrissey assembled an entirely new configuration of the British jazz-rock ensemble for their fifth album. The record features incredibly tight, horn-driven grooves and complex rhythmic interplay, leaning heavily into sophisticated fusion textures while maintaining a progressive rock edge. It represents a vital, slightly darker rebirth for the technically formidable group.
