Album Notes & Community Reviews
The acclaimed 12-string acoustic guitarist continues to stretch the boundaries of American Primitivism, heavily integrating the sweeping, minimalist structures of modern classical music. Grounded in highly repetitive, technically dazzling fingerpicking, the entirely instrumental compositions evoke an incredibly lush, pastoral atmosphere steeped in quiet suspense. It is a profoundly melodic, gorgeously atmospheric work of contemporary acoustic guitar.
