Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following her departure from Big Brother and the Holding Company, Janis Joplin embraced a remarkably warm, brass-heavy soul and rhythm and blues sound. 'I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama!' highlights her fiercely passionate, agonizingly raw vocal performances against deeply sentimental, heavily psychedelic blues-rock arrangements.
