Album Notes & Community Reviews

Named after the tragic 1978 Rainer Werner Fassbinder film, this deeply romantic project fuses harsh noise with the nostalgic warmth of 1980s shoegaze and dream pop. Constructed largely from heavily distorted drum machines, blown-out guitar feedback, and buried synthesizer melodies, it sounds like an aggressively degraded pop cassette. It operates as a masterclass in utilizing abrasive volume to evoke profound emotional vulnerability.
