Gift Songs

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Gift Songs' is a suite of five sublimely minimal compositions blending a rich sonic palette of guitar, modular synthesizer, and acoustic arrangements with piano, cello, and percussion. Drawing influence from the natural world and the artist's spiritual practice as a Zen priest, the album moves from a dense, long-form opening piece to sparser, emotionally exposed spaces carved by delicate organ drones. The production is open and environmentally attuned, featuring a cast of collaborators to sculpt a sound that balances conceptual depth with a profound sense of humanity.
