Stepping away from the dense, shoegaze-indebted static of his previous releases, the experimental musician leans into acoustic minimalism and profound stillness. The album consists of three sprawling, deeply meditative compositions constructed around the gentle, resonating tones of a vibraphone played by John Also Bennett. It is a stunning, warm exercise in slowly unfolding harmonic overtones.
