Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the sixth posthumous studio album released under Jimi Hendrix's name, 'Midnight Lightning' sparked intense controversy due to producer Alan Douglas erasing original backing tracks and substituting session musicians. Despite the compromised production, the record still highlights fragments of Hendrix's unparalleled blues and psychedelic guitar technicality.
