Album Notes & Community Reviews

Applying his signature American Primitivism fingerpicking style to traditional holiday carols, the acoustic visionary crafted an unexpected but enduring seasonal classic. The recording strips away all commercial festive bombast, rendering familiar melodies with a stark, melancholic, and deeply meditative resonance. It redefined the possibilities of holiday music within the acoustic folk tradition.
