Album Notes & Community Reviews

Acoustic guitar pioneer John Fahey applied his signature American Primitivism fingerpicking style to a collection of traditional Christian hymns on this serene release. 'Yes! Jesus Loves Me' strips these classic spirituals down to their melodic core, transforming them into complex, meditative instrumental pieces. It showcases his unparalleled mastery of the steel-string guitar and his reverence for early American roots music.
