Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in New York amidst his pivotal sessions with Miles Davis, the virtuosic guitarist produced an incredibly dense, terrifyingly heavy slab of psychedelic jazz-rock. Featuring Larry Young on electric piano and Buddy Miles on drums, the wildly phased, feedback-laden improvisations were famously remixed and released by producer Alan Douglas without McLaughlin's consent.
