Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second installment in his 'Dreamers' series, the avant-garde composer delivers an uncharacteristically relaxed, deeply lush tribute to vintage exotica. Featuring a masterful ensemble including Marc Ribot and Trevor Dunn, the tracks blend surf-rock guitars, vibraphones, and Afro-Cuban percussion into incredibly smooth, cinematic lounge music. It offers a beautiful, entirely accessible counterpoint to his typically abrasive, chaotic improvisations.
