Album Notes & Community Reviews

Johnny Winter's aptly titled album pays homage to his roots while delivering a blistering set of high-energy blues-rock and boogie. The record features a notably heavy, guitar-driven interpretation of John Lennon's 'Rock and Roll People', alongside deeply emotional original blues numbers. It perfectly captures Winter's ferocious slide guitar technique and raw, impassioned vocal style.
